熱海温泉 実の別荘 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.5 km of Atami Sun Beach and 31 km of Shuzen-ji Temple. When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

Just a short walk (less than 5 minutes) takes you to the beautiful Nabetahama Beach and many nearby attractions. The sunrise views from the room are absolutely gorgeous. For those who want to explore the area, the guesthouse offers free bicycles to borrow. There's also a fully-equipped kitchen you can use for free if you'd like to cook, and even a BBQ area for outdoor grilling. The bathroom, while a little dated, is clean and comfortable. The host, Yuki, is incredibly helpful and generous with his time and advice. He even assisted me with a luggage delivery service. His excellent English makes communication a breeze. True to its name, this guesthouse truly offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Situated within 12 km of Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival and 50 km of Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA, オーシャンビューゲストハウスEat&Stay ROMEY features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Shizuoka. Fantastic, this place is a hidden gem and we are so glad we found it. The location is stunning, but the hosts are just the loveliest, friendliest and most welcoming people in the world. We had an unforgettable stay at Romey's. The food was amazing, the atmosphere amazing and we just had the best night. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, everyone should stay here....!!!

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The kindest owner I've ever had. He cares about our comfort and has a genuine curiosity about the guests. I felt like at home. Really cozy and comfortable stay. 100% recommended!

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. Cleanest hostel I’ve ever been in, convenient location, and reasonably priced. But what really blew me away was the service. Hey-san was incredibly helpful with recommendations and reservations nearby. He even helped with our laundry while we were out and about. Our whole group loved staying here.

Set just 42 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, Guesthouse SORA offers accommodation in Minamiizu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.

Kisami Ohama beach is just a 3-minute walk from, Oli Oli Guesthouse in Shimoda featuring a terrace and bar. The property is located 7 km from Shirahama Ohama Beach. The staff was so kind and really listening to what you need. the food was amazing and the place is so cosy and chill, just 3 min next to the beach. you can even get some body board for free !
