We were received by the owner personally who was very friendly and welcoming. We booked a single room, but Hester upgraded our booking to a self service cottage with excellent facilities. Breakfast was included in our booking and we still had the privilege of enjoying our breakfasts. Hester's husband also gave us an tour of the fossil museum, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A supper were offered at a very fair price, which we accepted and it was delivered to our cottage. Very tasty Karoo tripe and a chicken potjiekos.

The room is spacios and has all the necessary amenities: towels, shampoo, coffee amd tea. It is nicely and tastefully decorated. The owners are really friendly and we had an opportunity to have an interesting chat with them! Thank you for your hospitality!

The optional dinner and breakfast we decided to take was delicious and the instructions how to prepare the food, was a nice touch. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the cottage.

Our guests were so friendly! After a coffee with self baked cake we took a refreshing dive in the pool. Afterwards we could enjoy an amazing diner (the hostess is a chef!) with a splendid wine. Our accomodation was very clean. It had a seperate kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms with a super large master bedroom with views on the garden. We had a lovely stay. Just what we needed on our road trip to Cape Town. Very much worth a visit.

The accommodation was brilliant. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Setting was stunning. Especially watching the rain fall while sitting on the porch. The service from Eben was spot on. He was very helpful and, when requested, he gave us great advice on travel routes.

Nestled on a hilltop overlooking the Zuurberg Mountains, this working citrus farm offers self-catering cottages and chalets. It is 5km from the Addo Elephant National Park. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Top notch.
