My stay at Melville was bliss! Extremely clean, plenty of kitchen appliances, super comfy bed and hot water. Lo gave some great suggestions and was all around very helpful. Melville is also a cooool neighborhood, great thrift shopping, karaoke Kong is an absolute vibe and cute cafes. Just get Ubers at night rather than walking the streets, but that's what I was told for all of Joburg.

We had an incredible stay with Denise and Phoebe the cat. Everyday began with a breakfast at Denise's breakfast table where we shared stories and sighed about poltics or learned new things about the area's archaeological digs. Denise is a lovely, well-informed, easygoing and hospitable person. She took a lot of trouble to suggest things that we'd enjoy and things we should look out for. Even her other guests were warm and gracious and friendly. The rooms are simply delightful, very comfortable and well-equipped. The area is in a high-security neighborhood. Outside the room is a couple of tables and chair as well as the patio area you see in the picture if you just want to chill and read a book. I think the best part is that Denise relies on water tanks and solar energy, so there is no fear of load shedding or water cuts to dampen your stay. I think I could happily stay a month or more at such a comfortable place. And Denise let us use her garage to park our rental car so we weren't worried about it either.

Beautiful guesthouse, big rooms, lovely pool area, great location in Melville. Conway and Sifiso were very welcoming, friendly and attentive to every need. Great breakfast and useful honesty bar, including selection of SA wines.

Kohapeal on privaatne parkla. 1) This is a spacious, very nice property, with 3 large ensuite bedrooms, with king sized beds 2) The beds are very comfortable, and the property is very quiet in the evenings. And Melville centre which is 5-10 mins walk away does have a strip of bars, and restaurants etc. 3) The area is safe and the property is very secure 4) This property is in a good central location. Melville is about 10-15 mins drive from Wits Univ, and the CBD. 5) There were no power cuts in the 7 days that we were there 6) The parking is secure, within the electrified fence of the property and electric gates, also the parking area is spacious 7) There is a supermarket and fast food outlet about 5 mins walk away 8) The owners live over the wall in the next house in the street, so that you have complete privacy 9) The owners Pierre and Corlien are very helpful In summary this was very good value for money

The host was nice and welcoming. the location is perfect and safe. the place was clean and the host attended us whenever we needed.

La Couronne asub Johannesburgis, 9 km kaugusel Apartheidi muuseumist ja Gold Reef City kasiinost. Piirkonnas saab matkata. Johannesburgi staadion jääb 8 km kaugusele. This was our second time staying with Laura and Walter and we loved it again. They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home and the apartment has everything you need, including a nice view. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and see you next time!
